It's nearly October, which means it's time for Oktoberfest! And luckily, Lawton has two great Oktoberfest events to enjoy beer and German eats.

Lawton residents can enjoy the first two weekends in October with two Oktoberfests!

The Fort Sill MWR will host its annual Oktoberfest on Friday, October 3.

The first Oktoberfest in Lawton will be hosted by the Fort Sill MWR. Every year the Fort Sill MWR hosts an Oktoberfest at the Patriot Club. This year's Oktoberfest hosted by the Fort Sill MWR will take place from 5-10 p.m. Friday, October 3.

The Fort Sill MWR's Oktoberfest will feature an Oktoberfest buffet for $20 that will feature schnitzel, German potato salad, brotchen, hunter gravy and black forest cake. They will also have kid's meals and bratwurst.

But it wouldn't be Oktoberfest without beer! The Fort Sill MWR will have various beer steins available and refills. More details are available on the Fort Sill MWR official website.

Lawton's Comanche County Fairgrounds will host its 52nd annual Oktoberfest.

One of the longstanding events at the Comanche County Fairgrounds is the annual Oktoberfest! This year will be the 52nd annual Oktoberfest at the Comanche County Fairgrounds.

The Comanche County Fairgrounds will host its annual Oktoberfest over two days, on October 10 and 11. The event will feature imported beer, German food, performances from Alpenmusikanten and a best dressed costume contest.

Oktoberfest at Comanche County Fairgrounds will take place from 5-11 p.m. on Friday, October 10 and 4-11 p.m. Saturday, October 11. More information is available on the Comanche County Fairgrounds official website.
