Oklahoma You Pick Peach Orchard Opening in July

There's nothing like fresh fruit during a hot Oklahoma summer day! And nothing is fresher than having a peach right off the tree. Wind Drift Orchards is set to open its you pick peach orchard this July.

In a recent Facebook post, Wind Drift Orchards announced that it wouldn't be opening its you pick peach orchard until July this year. Typically the orchard, which is located in Harrah, Oklahoma, opens its you pick peach orchard in June. But due to early freezes this year, the orchard's crop is thinner than most years, therefore its you pick peach trees won't be ready till July.

Wind Drift Orchards will open its fruit stand Saturday, June 7.

Luckily, Oklahomans won't have to wait long for fresh peaches and other goodies from Wind Drift Orchards! The orchard is set to open its fruit stand from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 7. The fruit stand will feature fresh peaches, peach salsa, peach tea, peach lemonade, peach ice cream and peach slushies.

Peach-lovers can also pre-order peach tea, peach lemonade and peach salsa before the fruit stand opens Saturday. Pre-orders can be made by emailing the orchard at winddriftorchards@gmail.com.

As of Thursday, June 5, Wind Drift Orchards has not announced a specific opening date for its you pick peaches. The orchard anticipates opening for you pick peaches in July.
