Did you know you can take a guided ghost tour through downtown Oklahoma City?

To get into the Halloween spirit, there’s no better way to explore Oklahoma’s spooky side. The Sooner State has more than its fair share of ghost stories and haunted hangouts. Some say we’ve got more ghosts per capita than just about anywhere else in the country.

And Oklahoma City? It’s packed with them.

From haunted hotels to eerie restaurants and strange alleyways, OKC’s downtown and Bricktown districts are said to be crawling with restless spirits. It’s a mix of history, tragedy, and urban legend that locals and tourists can literally walk through.

Everyone’s heard of The Skirvin Hotel... It’s practically the poster child for haunted Oklahoma. But did you know the old Spaghetti Warehouse in Bricktown is also said to be haunted? Some guests swear they’ve seen shadows move and heard faint voices when the place is empty.

Bricktown’s got a long memory. Most of its buildings date back to the early 1900s, and even though many have been remodeled or repurposed, the stories linger. Every brick and alley has a past, and the guided tours dig deep into the darker chapters of OKC’s history of fires, floods, and the unexplained.

It’s fascinating stuff. You get to learn when these buildings went up, who built them, and what they were originally used for, and maybe, if you’re lucky (or unlucky), you’ll catch a glimpse of who might still be hanging around.

If you’re feeling brave enough to experience it for yourself, you can check out one of several guided ghost tours right here in Oklahoma City.

Here’s where to find them.
