Oklahoma’s Favorite Cold Weather Foods
With daily highs in the 70s and 80s, it may be a stretch to call this second-fall "cold," but with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s across the state, it qualifies for some of Oklahoma's favorite cooler weather dishes.
Primarily, the crock pot dishes. Chili and every other version of chili dishes, like taco salads and frybread dishes.
Savory and hearty breakfasts are also on the menu. When it gets cold, I love nothing more than piping hot biscuits and gravy on a cool Saturday morning. We'll even enjoy it on the back patio if the allergies allow it.
