In case you were out of the loop, there's a competition or sorts and huge celebration of medical marijuana coming to the LO Ranch Arena Halloweed... ahem, Halloween weekend. It promises a pretty diverse event full of live music, vendors, and of course, home grown sticky icky.

Before I hop too far off point, this is the Annual Oklahoma Dispensary Cup and it's two days and nights full of as much fun as you can legally enjoy with the proper papers and whatnot.

Oklahoma marijuana growers are currently submitting their wares to be analyzed in a lab specializing in this genre of prescription drugs. Now I've never experienced an event like this, so I don't know what exactly is at stake. Are bragging rights will be the topic of the event overall? Who grows the best marijuanas? Most potent strain and such?

Each night of the event will cap with live music. You'll hear country music in the arena on that Friday night featuring Rick Monroe, Rob West and Epidemic Outrage. Saturday night is hip-hop night. Live music from B-Real - AKA - Dr. Greenthumb, Fiend and Big Boi Montana.

One would assume, since it's a statewide event, there's going to be a ton of vendors present offering their wares. Everything from crafts to t-shirts, and if you have a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana card, you'll be able to get free marijuana from the dispensaries that will be handing out free samples.

But wait, there's more... If you weren't hooked yet, being that this event takes place Halloween weekend, there's going to be a (probably) pretty epic costume contest with a cash money prize to the winner. An outdoor skating rink, pumpkin painting, a hay maze, all sorts of Halloween festivities in and around the other events.

It all takes place at the LO Ranch East of Lawton, Oklahoma. October 29th and 30th. Gates open at, and this is hilarious, 4:20PM on Friday, runs til 2AM. Saturday it's open bright and early at the crack of noon for another packed day of fun.

Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
