During Monday's Comanche County Commissioner's meeting Monday night, Central District Commissioner Johnny Owens announced that measures are to be put in place at the Comanche County Courthouse, in order to tighten security in the building.

A 20-year lease between Comanche County and Family Promise of Lawton, Inc was approved by Comanche County Commissioners Tuesday night, allowing the non-profit organization to move into the former J. Roy Dunning Children's Shelter.

Sample ballots are now available at the Comanche County Election Board office for voters who want to get a preview of what will be at stake in the special Primary Election scheduled for June 9, 2015.

The Comanche County Courthouse is spreading the word about a new scam affecting citizens of the county participating in their civic duty.

Comanche County residents are eligible to purchase affordable flood insurance, in or out of the floodplain, through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), according to Chloe Lewis, CFM, Comanche County Floodplain Administrator.

According to Clint Wagstaff, Comanche County Emergency Management, Commissioner Johnny Owens has officially closed the Comanche County Court House offices for Wednesday, December 26th.  The closing is being issued for the safety of the citizens and county employees...
