It's time once again to Share Your Christmas. Going on today (12-07-23) until 7:00 pm at all 3 Walmarts, Sheridan Road, Quannah Parker Trailway, and 38th and Lee Blvd. you can do your part and help those less fortunate this holiday season.

Major Raymond Pruitt was in the KLAW studios this week and shared an amazing number with us: "The need for food boxes has grown by 100% in the last year."

The Ride for Change is returning to Lawton, Fort Sill this upcoming Thursday, May 5th (05-05-22) at Diamondback Harley Davidson. This year's Ride for Change will be raising awareness and funds to benefit local veteran organizations.

The Lawton Salvation Army kicked off it's annual "Red Kettle Campaign" today (11-17-20) at the west side Country Mart located at 6734 N.W. Cache Road. It's now officially the holiday season! Starting today you'll see and hear volunteers ringing the bell for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle at various stores and locations in Lawton, Fort Sill encouraging donations.

With the holiday season upon us, we know that it is always better to give than to receive. But there are some of those among us who will use people's charitable spirit and turn it against them, while others who intend good, will not always have the best ideas in mind for your contributions.

I've heard, and I am sure many of us have... "you look like you could afford to miss a meal". And while those generally would be "fightin' words", on Friday the 13th, they are a suggestion to benefit Arvest Bank's 1 Million Meals Campaign to support the fight against hunger...

'Tis the season! We're back at Classic Chevrolet in Lawton on 82nd and Cache for the annual toy and bike drive "Operation Santa Claus."

Townsquare Media Lawton (KLAW 101, My 1073 and Z94) will be out in full force Tuesday morning (5/21/2013) at the Walmart / Sams Club on Sheridan Road taking donations for the victims of this horrific storms these past couple of days.
