We're fast approaching the three-day Memorial Day weekend and if you're looking for something to do, the Big Lawton Fair is the place to be. The entire family can get into the fun there's something for all ages.

After the Oklahoma State Fair was cancelled last year because of the pandemic a lot of people are wondering what the requirements, if any, will be to attend this year's state fair. With the recent spike in new COVID-19 cases and Delta variant infections within the state will there be mandates or other policies in place?

Jeri and I just got back in town after visiting OKC (Oklahoma City) for the state fair food event. It was definitely worth the trip down I-44 to indulge in our favorite fair foods. They had all kinds of food vendors and trucks set up. There was funnel cakes, corn dogs, turkey legs, cotton candy, hot dogs, all kinds of meats on a stick, cinnamon rolls and this year's personal favorite for Jeri and I...Fried peaches!

Hard to believe it but it is time to find the best food at the fair.  And we look no further than the West Coast in San Diego. They are having their fair through July 4th. So if you are interested,  loosen your belt and get ready to indulge in this treat...
