While I'm sure alcohol was involved, after all no sober, sane person thinks it's a good ideal to light an artillery shell in your garage with all the doors shut and locked. Well that's not entirely true, I think it's a GREAT IDEA!

We finally get some good news for a change instead of the usual cancellation or postponement. The Apache Casino Hotel has just confirmed that they will be hosting a HUGE fireworks display on Saturday, July 4th 2020 (07-04-20).

If you planning on heading to the Lawton Freedom Festival this weekend at Elmer Thomas Park, but you still want to buy your own fireworks, be careful not to set them off in Lawton, at Lake Lawtonka or at Lake Ellsworth.

I kept hearing all this conflicting information about where you can and where you can NOT light fireworks in or around the Lawton area so I went right to the city to ask and this is what I found out.
