Abrams, who was on set for Ford’s unfortunate accident last year, when a hydraulic door broke his leg. Jon Stewart has been refreshingly honest in recent weeks about his decision to leave The Daily Show behind, and while we’ll never feel quite ready to say goodbye, we at least have time to prepare. The 16-year anchor has confirmed that he’ll take his final bow as host of The Daily Show this coming August.

The Daily Show and Comedy Central have announced that, after a long search with many rumored candidates, Trevor Noah will succeed the retiring Jon Stewart as the host of the late night program. Noah, a 31-year-old stand-up comedian, has served as a correspondent for the show but, so far, has only made three appearances.
