It was over a year ago that the massive Sony hack revealed plans for a Jump Street-Men in Black crossover movie, and while it wasn’t entirely clear, we sort of assumed this would happen in 23 Jump Street. Interesting? Sure. Exciting? Well, maybe. With Phil Lord and Chris Miller busy prepping the young Han Solo movie, we’ve retained some healthy skepticism about this wacky crossover plan. But it looks like Sony has found a director to renew our optimism.

Can I buy tickets to Hail, Caesar! yet? Can I preorder the Blu-ray? Too early to add it to my top ten list of the year?

You’ve got to hand it to Jonah Hill and James Franco, both of whom manage to effortlessly glide between comedic and dramatic roles. It’s not easy to be a popular goofball and an Oscar nominated “serious” actor, but somehow these two have managed to pull it off. Their latest film, ‘True Story’ is unique in that it is the first project to cast them together in dramatic roles.
