It’s been a while, but the affable star of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ is reviving the Muppet mania that has been hibernating deep inside most of us over-25-year-olds. This week, Jason Segel’s new movie ‘The Muppets’ opens nationwide, and, because of his own Muppet mania, he seems to be the most star struck of them all.

The new Muppets film doesn’t just revive a long lost tradition of family friendly films. It also revives the long lost art of puppet and person duets, as evidenced by Kermit the Frog’s sweet duet with the new film’s composer (and Flight of the Conchords member) Bret McKenzie.

The Muppets seem to be everywhere promoting their new movie, opening on Wednesday. Last night’s ‘SNL’ was filled with them, starting with the opening monologue with Jason Segel and leading up to Kermit and Seth Meyers’ ‘Really!?!’ segment on Weekend Update.
