Update: Lamont Evans, the Oklahoma State Assistant basketball coach who was indicted on Federal charges and suspended by the University has been fired.

My 107.3 FM is SW Oklahoma's home for Oklahoma State sports, and with basketball  season getting underway in early November the Cowboys are going to have to brush up on their Spanish as they head to Spain for the next 10 days to play basketball.

The Oklahoma State University Cowgirl Basketball Team finished off one of the most inspirational seasons in the NCAA season. The OSU girls won the Women’s National Invitational Tournament Title. The game was played at the Gallagher Iba Arena in Stillwater. The Cowgirls won with a 75-68 score over James Madison.

Congratulations to Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy has been named the winner of the 2011 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award. This award is selected by the members of the 1,200-member strong Football Writers Association of America and has been on by some the football's greatest coaches.

Since the National Basketball Association is currently in a strike, their superstars are having to find other ways to stay in game shape if the strike is ever over and the season ever does start.

Since the Oklahoma State Cowboys are off this week, I thought I would give you an inside look at Oklahoma State game day fun. I got to go to the Oklahoma State vs Arizonia game a while back and thought I would share my game day pics with you. The Cowboys will return to action on Saturday October 8th and they take on the Kansas Jayhawks in Stillwater, 12:30 pm for the pre game and 2:30 pm for the k

Fans, alumni and people in general are still smiling in Stillwater today.  Why?  Well yesterday, Oklahoma State scored a big touchdown and it's not even close to Spring football season and even further away from the Fall campaign.
