Plays of the Week

The staff and management of the Play of The Week/Play of the Year would first like to take a moment to congratulate the players, staff and management of the Kansas City Royals on becoming World Champions, by defeating the New York Mets 4 games to 1 in the World Series.

Last week was round two of our year-end post season, pitting the top 6 plays from the second half of the major league season against each other, with the winner continuing on to this week's big finale, The Play of the Year finals.

Last week, in the regular season ending poll, Boston Red Sox secondbaseman Dustin Perdroia robbed Cleveland Indian Abraham Almonte of a bunt single with a terrific show of glovesmanship, taking home the final Play of the Week.
