The wait is FINALLY OVER, it's back! After two long years, the Mexican Pizza at Taco Bell has returned! That's right Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza is now available on the menu in Lawton!

Don't believe everything you hear or see on the internet, especially on Facebook and Twitter. There's been a rumor going around town online and elsewhere that Qdoba on the West side is closing down. IT'S NOT TRUE!

Looks like Lawton, Fort Sill is getting an new restaurant, but it's a lot more than that. Get ready for JD's Hideaway, a really unique place to eat that features axe throwing lanes, billiards, an HD golf simulator and video games! If the name sounds kind of familiar that's because they have an Altus, OK. location. I've heard about it, but I've never had the opportunity to eat there. Well, Lawton will be getting it's very own JD's Hideaway soon! It'll be located at 2705 N.W. Sheridan Road in the old Kimchi Korean BBQ building.

We've been hearing rumors now for weeks, maybe even months about Slim Chickens coming to Lawton, Fort Sill. Somewhat, fairly reliable sources have told us this is true and that the new restaurant will be located on the west side of town. If you've been near the intersection of 67th Street and N.W. Cache Road you've probably seen all the construction going on. From what we're hearing that's where the new Slim Chickens is going. It'll be in between Toy Chiropractic Clinic and J&S Dry Cleaning and Laundry.

Firo Fire Kissed Pizza in Lawton, Fort Sill has made history. Sweet, wonderful, crispy, tasty, crunchy, delicious history! The Firo in Lawton is the very first restaurant in the world to offer Roman Style Pizza with their drive thru. We broke the news a few days ago that this was on the way, and now it's officially here. I went through the drive thru yesterday and ordered a Roman Style Pizza. It was really quick and the pizza was amazing!

The war rages on as the battle of the birds continues. It's a strongly debated argument that's been going on for years now, "Which fast food place has the best chicken sandwich?" We all have our favorites, but which one is the absolute best? You know, the one chicken sandwich to rule them all! It seems every day there's a new one being hatched and another restaurant adding to the menu their take on the chicken sandwich.

The brand new Panera Bread in Lawton across from Walmart on Sheridan Road and next door to Raising Cain's Chicken is starting to take shape. Every time I pass by there more and more has been done. It looks like most of the exterior walls and structure are completed, nor they're working on roughing in the interior.

Good news, McDonald's is planning to bring the McRib sandwich back early next month! This will be the first time in over eight years that McDonald's will have the McRib at all locations across the U.S. at the same time. Normally they only bring it back to select markets and restaurants, but in the year of our Lord 2020, the McRib will be available everywhere!

Looks like the new construction near the corner of Cache and Sheridan, close to the 1,400 block next to China Wok will be a brand new Sonic Drive In. They're getting it done quick and in no time we'll have a new Sonic in Lawton.

Whataburger turns 70 this month, to celebrate they're giving you a free Whataburger! It might be their Birthday but you get the presents. We had the opportunity to go inside the new Chick-Fil-A on Cache Road in Lawton, OK. and get a sneak peek of what's to come. Owner/manager Jonathan Pickett invited us in for an exclusive look and we were all to happy to take him up on the offer. Good news! We got the official word today that the wait is almost over it. The Cache Road Chick-Fil-A location will be back up and running on Thursday, August 6th 2020 (08-06-20).

The wait is almost over...Finally the new and improved Chick-Fil-A location on Cache Road in Lawton is about to re-open within the next few weeks. We're hearing it will be open early August, maybe as soon as the first week in August.
