Texas is home to so many different landscapes, it is hard to believe that one state contains so much natural diversity and beauty. From water features to rock formations, there is a view everyone is bound to love.

Yesterday Kelso and I decided to take a quick lunch break and head to the mountains. It's been forever since I've driven through the refuge, not to mention up Mount Scott. All the road repairs have been completed and Mt. Scott is officially reopened. We made a quick stop, grabbed some lunch, and headed to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge for a short break. It's a great way to get a little R&R in the middle of the workday.
