We’ve all seen bizarre sports before, but “wife carrying” definitely takes the cake. ‘Good Morning America’ takes an inside look at the 2011 North American Wife Carrying Championships (which is apparently a real thing) that takes place in Maine. This competition gives new meaning to the phrase, “Take my wife. Please!”

Rocco Andreozzi and and his girlfriend Kim Wasko, both of Portland, ME, beat out 46 other couples to win the North American Wife Carrying Championship for their second straight year. With Wasko hanging upside down from Andreozzi’s shoulders, the pair completed the obstacle course in 49.64 seconds, shaving an impressive 12.27 seconds off their score from the year before.
