Snowmageddon 2023 is coming, time to get the bread and milk! It's looking like Mother Nature is going to hit us with freezing temperatures, sleet, snow, and ice tomorrow. Most of Oklahoma is under a winter weather advisory and is bracing for the coming winter storm.

While we're all looking forward to Thanksgiving and spending some time with family and friends, not to mention eating. It's looking like Mother Nature is going to throw an icy wrench into everyone's plans for Turkey Day. They're predicting freezing temps, snow, and ice!

If you haven't heard the news it's looking like winter will be coming early for Oklahoma this year according to the Farmer's Almanac. Now would be the time to get prepared and make sure you have everything you'll need to brave the cold.

Sure it may be 100 plus degrees outside as Mother Nature continues to pound us with record-breaking heat, but try as you might, you can't stop the pumpkin spice season!

As rapidly as things can change outdoors you need to be prepared when Mother Nature starts PMSing. That's means running to the store ASAP and getting the BREAD & MILK! It's not an option, it's a must-do, must-have, or else kinda thing.

Mother Nature sure has been moody lately. We've seen 70-80 degree days recently and now we're sitting here freezing at 25 degrees, it's been a crazy couple of weeks weather-wise that's for sure. We've found some tips and tricks to help keep you warm and safe this winter.

Well, it's not looking good for Oklahoma this Winter according to the Farmer's Almanac. Unless of course, you're into really cold temperatures that are below average and enjoy sleet, ice, snow, and trekking through the frozen tundra.

Governor Stitt just declared a Winter weather state of emergency for all 77 Oklahoma counties. He just signed the executive orders this afternoon and it will be in effect statewide until weather conditions improve. Oklahoma is expected to get extremely cold temperatures, snow, ice and all kinds of frozen precipitation over the next few days. At his time we're looking at a 80% chance of snow on Sunday, there's a 50% chance on Tuesday and 40% chance of snow on Wednesday. Temperatures will be well below freezing and even below zero for parts of the weekend and going into next week.

Well once again Mother Nature is being moody, more like PMSing. Over the next 3 or 4 days we're going to see and feel some of the coldest temperatures we've seen all winter long. We're talking in the teens and with the wind chill, negative below zero temperatures. Looking ahead to the weekend and into Monday it's going to be around 18-10 degrees with lows from 3 to -2 outside. We're talking extreme cold!

Well it's here, the wait is officially over, the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks is back on the menu. Now normally that would mark the beginning of the Fall/Winter season and the kick off of all things holidays.

Southwest Oklahoma had an unpredictable cold season last year. It was blisteringly cold through November, then downright hot around Thanksgiving. Then came the cold freezing rains and wet heavy snows in December and January. February was also cold, but it all gave way to a brilliant and incredibly wet Spring and Summer.
