Most people have 4th of July traditions, so have family and friends over to BBQ , while others go to the fireworks stand and spend 200 dollars and entertain the neighborhood with a fire works display. Well I too have a 4th of July tradition and it involves watching people eating way to much and way to fast.

Every year since they started televising the 'Nathan's 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest' from Coney Island in New York I have watched it in total amazement, and for the 6th straight year I watched Joey Chesnut win this annual 4th of July event. 28-year-old Chesnut from San Jose, California downed 68 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes tying his world record and personal best while taking home $10,000 and the mustard yellow championship belt.

This is only one bad thing about my annual 4th of July, after watching 'Nathan's 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest' I have to take a long break from eating hot dogs because I eat them too fast!
