Apparently the good times are rolling again. So get yourself a few subprime mortgages, buy everything on credit, and light your Cuban cigars with $50 bills! What could go wrong?

According to a new survey, 96% of companies are throwing a holiday party this year. That's up from 91% last year, and 74% in 2011. Which was the all-time low in the past 25 years. The all-time highs were 1996 and 1997, when 97% of companies threw holiday parties.

Even though parties are back,  which is a legit sign the economy is recovering, they're more modest than they used to be. Only 6% of companies will spend more on this year's party than last year's.

Will your office hold a party / in house get together this holiday season?
