News is still currently being released about the tornado that has hit Ada, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 19, 2025. While tackling damage from the tornado, the town is also struggling to combat flooding and incoming injuries.

According to the Ada News, most of the damage from the tornado hit near the J.A. Richardson Loop, but the entire town was affected in some way. As of now, there are few minor injuries reported, but luckily no fatalities.

Storms have continued to flood the streets of Ada and power lines across the town are down, so those wanting to help with clean up are asked to wait until emergency services have been able to make the areas safe again.

Ada struck again after cleaning up from tornado from a month ago.

As some folks have pointed out, Ada, Oklahoma was hit by another tornado over a month ago. Although the tornado that hit the town on March 4 occured near 6 a.m., the damage was just as extensive as the tornado that hit near midnight.

One major difference between the aftermath of the storms seems to be the extensive flooding that Ada citizens are currently battling this morning.

No preliminary reports released yet, but some guess it may have been EF1 tornado.

Storm Tracker Jeffery Johnson shared photos of damage on various properties, encouraging visitors to stay home and wait for officials to assess the damages. According to meteorologist David Payne, the damage they've seen in photographs thus far is similar to EF1 and possible EF2 tornado damage.
