Who Should Be Nominated for Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammys?
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards are two months away, and speculation over which acts will be nominated for what categories has risen exponentially over the past few weeks. Thankfully, all mystery will dissipate come tomorrow (December 6), when Grammy Award-winner Meghan Trainor announces the nominations, once and for all. Until then we're left to wonder: Who should be nominated for the highly coveted category of Album of the Year?
2016 was rife with stellar pop releases, from Zayn's debut solo album Mind of Mine to Rihanna's Anti to Drake's Views.
Meanwhile, Beyonce's Lemonade proved to be a major event in music that'll not soon be forgotten and will be hard pressed to find much competition outside of Adele's record-shattering third album 25.
Teen favorites Justin Bieber and One Direction are also contenders, with Purpose and Made in the A.M. possibly duking it out for inclusion on the nominees list.
