Area towns all across Stephens County have set dates and times for annual Christmas parades for 2013.

City of Marlow originally had their pancake breakfast and parade scheduled for this Saturday, December 7th. With the possibility of the weather deteriorating, Marlow Chamber has moved the breakfast to the 14th starting at 7am going through 11am, and the parade will start at 10am.  For more information contact Debbe Ridley, Marlow Chamber of Commerce at 580-658-2212.

Velma, Oklahoma Mayor Shawn Enloe said the parade for their town was scheduled for 11am,  Saturday. They have postponed the parade as well as the  community dinner scheduled for 6pm. No new date or time has been decided by city leaders.

Duncan is still on schedule for their Christmas parade on December 14th starting at 3pm. Line up will be at 2pm.  Main Street Duncan is still looking for entries. You can call them at 580-252-8696. They are hoping to have over 100 entries.

Finally, city of Comanche will round out the evening with their parade starting at 7pm. Sponsored by the Comanche Chamber of Commerce. There will be fireworks at the beginning of the parade to usher in the holiday and welcome Santa Claus.

We hope that everyone will enjoy the activities planned by each municipality during their respective Christmas parade and other holiday activities.
