Ashley Tisdale Admits She Used Her Disney Fame to Break Up With Her Boyfriends
On Wednesday night (September 25), the actress stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden where she admitted she used her High School Musical fame to break up with her boyfriends. In fact, one might even say she channeled her inner Sharpay Evans.
At first, she explained how great it was to have VIP access to Disneyland. "When you work for Disney, you get, obviously, like, a VIP person to bring you to the front of the lines," Tisdale explained. "You just feel, like, so cool."
But it turns out, she took advantage of the all-star treatment for other things as well...
“It’s so funny because I would actually bring guys there that I’d dated to kind of, like, flex a little bit," Tisdale, who's now married to musician Christopher French, said. “I’d be like, ‘I’m Disney royalty,’ and then I’d break up with them after the fireworks. It was always a good story.”
Elsewhere in her interview with host James Corden, the 34-year-old also revealed she once went to Disneyland with Saturday Night Live vet Taran Killam, who was also on the show. However, she didn't go there to break his heart.
"Brenda [Song] was like... ‘Come, hang out. Let's go to Six Flags. It will be a big group of us,'" Killam said. "Great. I show up and it's just her and Ashley. They're 15 years old. I'm 21, and I'm like, ‘Okay, let's do this. Let's go have fun.'"
