We've officially hit the "feel good" season in Oklahoma. Time to take full advantage of all of the outdoor activities, fun events and perfect excuses to get everyone in the family out - including the furbabies.

What makes these breweries the best in the state?

The list below includes several places that many of our followers have recommended previously via social media. Typically, folks enjoy a brewery when they have a wide selection of the best beer and drinks, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, kind and attentative staff and something unique about their establishment or drinking experience.

Oklahoma loves our beers and breweries.

Oklahoma is actually loaded with breweries, ranking 33rd in the U.S. with 80 craft breweries across the state in 2023. Although many of the best breweries are found in some of the largest cities and communities in Oklahoma, don't rule out the small town breweries like the Rising Eagle Brewery in little ol' Elgin, Oklahoma.

There's something different about each of these places that many of our followers and their fans have never forgot about their experiences. But one very common thing in Oklahoma (that I found out recently was not very common in other places) was the concept of a dog-friendly venue. In fact many breweries welcome furbabies in Oklahoma, although apparently many other states don't offer the same opportunity.

Always check ahead, especially if they have restrictions.

When you visit any of the breweries below, it's well worth taking a look at their information to see if you can bring your kids or pets along. You'd be surprised at just how many folks welcome the whole family in for a fun experience! Keep in mind, Oklahoma's laws are still in effect!

Most breweries do allow pups outside on their patio areas, but these breweries will allow well behaved pups anywhere inside while on a leash.
