Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plains, and Blake Shelton reigns supreme!

Blake Shelton just announced his brand new tour 'Back to the Honky Tonk', and he'll once again make a tour stop in Oklahoma City, on March 17, 2023.  Tickets will go on Sale next week, but there is a special radio presale one day early.

Oklahoma's own Blake Shelton makes it a point to show up in his home state.  He was here in 2019, and I was lucky enough to be able to attend that show.  It was his 'Friends and Heroes' tour and he brought a bunch of his friends with him.  I think the best part of a Blake tour is that you get a lot of Blake.  For the show that I attended, he actually had about 3 sets on his own, plus he played with most of the artists that were on the bill with him.  He spend time onstage with his good friend Trace Adkins, and the two of them shared barbs back and forth, along with duets.

He also shared the stage with some of his heroes, like John Anderson, the Bellamy Brothers, and of course TraceLauren Alaina opened the show. Blake revived the Friends and Heroes Tour in 2021, adding Martina McBride

Blake says,

“There’s nothing like getting out on the road and taking music to the fans,” Shelton said. “I feel just as excited to step on stage and perform as I did the very first time. I know my tour mates Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean feel the same, and I can’t wait for y’all to get to know them better. Break out the hats and boots, ‘cause we’re going back to the honky tonk!”
