The TV market is about to get a bit busier (sorry) — Dawson's Creek and Cougar Town alum Busy Phillips has inked a brand new talk show at E!, and she's not the only one with her sights set on the network. Ashlee Simpson is also plotting her triumphant return to reality TV thanks to the channel's investment.

Phillips, who also stars in the new Amy Schumer comedy I Feel Pretty and has cultivated a massive social media following, will spearhead Busy Tonightwhich will catapult her into some elite company of women in late-night television.

"Now the ultimate insider with the wildly popular Instagram account brings her star presence and unfiltered hilarious commentary on literally everything to E!'s new talk show Busy Tonight," E! News reports of the new project.

Simpson, who starred on The Ashlee Simpson Show from 2003 to 2005, amounted to a huge ratings hit for MTV, and execs are hoping her marriage to Evan Ross will lead to similar magic.

Ashlee and Evan "will follow Simpson and Ross, a young millennial couple (both from famous music families) balancing marriage, kids and careers. Ashlee and Evan will also take viewers inside the recording of their first duet album," E! says.

And there's more — E! is also set to renew True Hollywood Story, which takes viewers inside a "topic, headline or person that became the ground zero for a revolution, change or shift in culture." The series premiered in 1996 and has aired more than 500 episodes.

See what else is coming to E! soon.
