New Road Routes For Cache Road Chick-Fil-A During Construction
One of the busiest businesses in Lawton is no doubt the Chick-Fil-A on Cache Road. It's often harder to find a time when there isn't a mile-long line and a packed parking lot. This week, their crazy-busy traffic is going to look a little confusing.
Construction on 23rd street starts this week. Unfortunately, because of the construction, drivers who're wanting to get their Chick-Fil-A will have to be re-routed to get to the restaurant. The regular entrance off of Cache Road will be closed.
Here are a few alternative routes you can go to get to the restaurant. It might also be a good idea to consider that Lawton's newest second location on the west side might be easier to get to.
Chick-Fil-A urges Lawton drivers to take alternate route during construction.
Instead of entering through Cache road, drivers who are trying to get to Chick-Fil-A on Cache will have three other options to enter the neighborhood. They can:
- Turn north on Sheridan road, then west on Baltimore Avenue, Finally, enter Chick-Fil-A through the back side of 23rd street.
- Enter the neighborhood through 22nd Street, or the same road as Whataburger and Milano's Italian Restaurant. Follow 22nd Street until you reach Baltimore, turn left, and turn left again at 23rd street.
- Turn north onto 26th Street and quickly turn east onto NW Atlanta Avenue. Follow that road until you hit 24th Street, turn left, then turn right on 23rd Street.
Obviously, plan on arriving early for the time being until construction is completed on 23rd Street. If you don't want to deal with the hassle of detours, you can always ask for your food to be delivered to you. Or, you can make the trip the new West Side location by 82nd Street.
