The Cameron University Department of Music will present "Songs of Delight" featuring Bella Voce, an all-female vocal ensemble. The concert will take place on Tuesday, June 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the McCutcheon Recital Hall. Admission is free; seating is limited to the first 80 patrons.

Bella Voce was formed in June 2013 by Doris Lambert, adjunct instructor of music, who serves as the ensemble's music director and conductor. The ensemble is made up of female vocal and choir directors from the Lawton/Fort Sill area, Walters, Hobart, Elgin and Frederick. Bella Voce is accompanied on piano by Cameron alumna Jiha Choi, a doctoral student in music at the University of North Texas.

"Songs of Delight" will include "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" by Antonio Vivaldi; "How do I Love Thee" with lyrics by Elizabeth Barrett Browning and music arranged by William Boland; "Sigue" a lively Cuban-rhythm arrangement by Ivette Herryman; "You Made Me Love You" arranged by Michele Weir; "In Whatever Time We Have" from the musical "Children of Eden" by Stephen Schwartz and arranged by Mac Huff; "Now Let Me Fly," a traditional spiritual arranged by Stacey Gibbs; and "Music in My Mother's House" by Stuart Stotts. Lambert and Choi will also perform a four-hand piano-four arrangement by Mark Hayes of two traditional American hymns, "There is a Fountain" and "This Little Light of Mine."
