Every year, I go into the big store and look at the display and, without fail, the list of school supplies for my son's grade is already gone. You might tell me that I should start this little adventure earlier. In response, I would tell you that my kid does NOT like shopping for school supplies.
Unveilings of two new health oriented projects are planned at the sixth annual Back to School Bash in Lawton. School aged youth can receive a backpack filled with back to school essentials, free lunch, and take part in other activities with families and community partners. The weather might be more ice cream trucks and long days at the pool, but the calendar is inching towards yellow buses and new backpacks. Every parent knows about back-to-school clothes and back-to-school supplies, but nowadays, back-to-school apps are just as important.
