Chocolate-Covered Corn Dog: OK Fair Time!

The Oklahoma State Fair opened Thursday.  It was a little rainy, but people are ready to celebrate . . . and eat!

Fair food has become a contest of cholesterol in the last few years.  The OK State Fair is throwing it's hat in the ring with two new selections:  chocolate-covered corn dogs and deep fried, bacon-wrapped chicken on a stick.

Of course there are plenty of other selections, too.  The Ragin' Cajun booth features fried chicken tenders on a stick with Cajun seasoning.  That has won a best food at the fair award this year.  And to think, fried cheesecake was a CRAZY idea just a few years ago!

If you can fry it, bake it, wrap it or dip it. . .then put it on a stick. . .you'll probably find it at the fair.
