
Christmas In The Wichitas, Live Music Celebrations, and More This Weekend
It's the week before Christmas and this weekend's forecast for Oklahoma is looking awfully bright. Since the weather's supposed to be looking so nice, business is likely going to be booming for the weekend.
Instead of soaking up the heat at home, here are weekend events that families and friends can enjoy this weekend in Southwest Oklahoma. While some events are free, others are ticketed and do require some advance plans.
Free Community Christmas Meal - Saturday, December 20, 2025
The Northwest Church of Christ is preparing a lovely Christmas meal for 500 community members. Whether you decide to have your meal there at the church, or take it home with you, they want to help this Christmas seaason feel a little more loving.
They begin serving meals at 11 a.m. and everyone is welcome, children included. The Northwest Church of Christ is located at 6602 NW Quannah Parker Trailway in Lawton, Oklahoma. They will continue serving meals until 1 p.m., or until they run out of supplies.
Medicine Park Holiday Parade - Saturday, December 20, 2025
The weather couldn't be more perfect for this weekend's festive parade in Medicine Park, Oklahoma. Line up starts promptly at 1:30 p.m. by the old Fancy Nancy's restaurant.
There is no fee and everyone is welcome! Seriously, they're asking bands, clubs, schools, and anyone interested in joining to come and make the parade one to remember. Sign up for the parade here.
Bullpen Ugly Sweater Christmas Celebration - Saturday, December 20, 2025
Break out the ugly sweaters and head to The Bullpen, near Lake Lawtonka. This 21 and up event features live music from local artist Amanda Howle, prizes for Ugly Sweater winners, and more.
Pint for a Pint Blood Drive - Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Nice Ice Baby in Medicine Park is partnering with the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) and hosting a one-of-a-kind blood drive. Not only will the Nice Ice crew give a "pint for a pint," but the OBI will also be giving away a free adult ticket to the Trail of Cheer, a unique t-shirt to commemorate the experience, and even a $15 butterball coupon.

Donors only need less than an hour and they'll earn all of this goodies and the good feeling of saving three lives with just one small donation.
Christmas in the Mountains - Sunday, December 21, 2025
This year, the Holy City will have a magical caroling concert at the Chapel. This ticketed event will feature performances from local Native American nobility, such as the Kiowa Tribal Princess, the Comanche Nation Princess, and the Comanche Little Ponies Princess.
Unfortunately, the two time slots are currently all sold out, but those interested can join the waiting list. If tickets become available, they will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis.
