Oklahoma’s 2025 Comanche Nation Fair Details & Schedule Of Events
It's almost that time! The Comanche Nation Fair is easily one of the largest and most anticipated events in southwest Oklahoma. It's one of the biggest opportunities for everyone in the state to come learn about and celebrate Comanche Native American culture.
This year's Comanche Nation Fair is celebrating 32 years of tradition. The fair is happening Friday, September 26 and wraps up on Sunday, September 28. The fair always happens at the Comanche Nation Tribal Complex, located at 584 N W Bingo Road just 8 miles north of Lawton, Oklahoma.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to enjoy the fair, including non-Native Americans. One of the most important reasons this fair is so celebrated in this area is because of the ability it has had over the years to bring all walks of life together.
Despite the fact that there is culture anywhere you go in the world, not all places have the same cultures. Here in Oklahoma, we have several tribes that call the state home and the Comanche Nation is one of the most well known.

During the fair, the nation celebrates their culture with traditions and events that everyone can, at the very least, watch and learn about. Some things are meant simply to be observed, while there are other opportunities for people to participate.
So far, here are some of the highlight events happening at this year's fair:
- Powwow - September 26 - 28, 2025
- Comanche Nation Fair Parade - Saturday, September 27, 2025
- A Walk To Remember MMIW - Tuesday, September 23, 2025
- Comanche Nation Horseback Ride - Friday, September 26, 2025
- Spirit Walk - September 28, 2025
Along with these major events, the Comanche Nation is also hosting several different tournaments including one for golf, basketball, horseshoe and the traditional handgame.
They are also hosting a variety of events specifically to teach folks more about the Comanche Nation, like the Lunch and Learn with Mary Motah and the art show featuring several Comanche artists and others.
Of course, like any good fair, they'll have a variety of vendors, including food, arts and crafts and many others who may be representing local non-profit groups. They'll also have rides, games and entertainment for folks to enjoy.
