‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ the final installment in the Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Batman trilogy, took in a whopping $160 million over the weekend. (This despite news that the tragic movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado would affect the box office tally.)
Watching the movie, you were probably wondering how much millionaire Bruce Wayne pays for his wonderful toys like his flying Bat plane and his flashy light-gun thing. Well, thanks to this handy infographic, you can now find out how much it would really cost to become Batman.
Turns out you’d need to be one of the 1% to prowl the streets of Gotham. While some of these prices make sense (the Bat Tumbler wouldn’t come cheap), we imagine Bruce Wayne skipped college and picked up his handy engineering and pilot skills from his trustworthy pal Lucius Fox. Also, we have to quibble with the firearms training. After all, Batman hates guns.
