Usually, your favorite bar has some fun pool, darts or even a mechanical bull. But in Oklahoma, they're taking fun to an entirely new (and nearly insane) level. Cowboys OKC in Oklahoma City is one of the only bars in the state that has live bull riding every Friday and Saturday as part of the normal experience.

Cowboys has become quite the staple in Oklahoma, especially since it has been around for over 22 years. Along with live music, line dancing lessons on one of the largest dance floors in the state, Cowboys OKC has a little bit of western life for everyone.

For those specifically wanting to come and cheer on the bull riders, there are VIP options that get you seated right next to the arena and a cash bar next door so you won't miss any of the action. There are even large screens at the top of the room to give you a great view of the riders while you're dancing the night away.

Like any western dance hall, there are a few rules to keep in mind, including a dress code. For the most part, dress to impress. No jerseys, sunglasses, flip flops or athletic gear. For specifics, check out the Cowboys OKC website.

Believe it or not, you do not have to be a professional bull rider in order to enter in the experience  (although not recommended). You just have to be older than 18 years old and have a helper over the age of 21. It does cost $50 for entry and $5 administrative fee, but winners receive 100% percent payback.

But, if you don't want to face the risk with a real bull, they do have a mechanical bull onsite to play it much more safe.

Oklahoma's Best Gas Station Chains

Depending on where you are in Oklahoma, there are gas station chains specific to that area. For the most part, they all have their own niche and stay to their respective boundaries. Some are better than others, some are absolutely loathed. The question remains, as we wait on Buc-ees to make an entrance to the Oklahoma travel center landscape, can any of these brands hold a candle to the Texas giant?
