Demi Lovato took time to thank her best friends for sticking with her through her "darkest moments" on Tuesday (May 14).

Recently, Lovato took a week-long vacation with her two friends, Grammy Award-winning artist Sirah Oner and actor Matthew Scott Montgomery. Lovato shared an image of the three on Instagram, captioning it #threecoursemeal.

"Thank you for never leaving me in my darkest moments, for always drying my tears.. even when they’re from watching Moana," she begins her heartfelt post, before getting more serious. "Thank you for being loyal, honest and so grateful for every little thing... like crying because we swam with fish/sharks/stingray and coral reef. I’m so lucky to be best friends with two incredible souls who are so talented and creative because it inspires me daily. And you’re so supportive of me and every little thing I do."

"You’ve traveled across the country to visit me and stayed with me at my house for days on end when I’m struggling to make sure I’m okay, but most importantly you never abandoned me like others did when I was going through s***," she adds. "You were there to listen, without judgment and only love, and I can never fully express what that means to me."

Montgomery also shared the same image along with a second image from their vacation on his Instagram account.

Lovato has been slowly but surely getting back into the public eye after going into rehabilitation following an alleged overdose in July 2018. It appears as though she's starting a new chapter as she recently unfollowed numerous people on social media and even signed a new management deal with Scooter Braun (who also manages Justin Bieber, Lil Dicky, Ariana Grande, among others).
