Diamond Stone Music Festival Announces Official Dates For 2025
For those left with the urge to get to another major outdoor festival after the Boys From Oklahoma, your next best experience is on the way. The iconic Diamond Stone Music Festival in Tahlequah, Oklahoma just announced their official dates for 2025. As we get closer to the dates, September 18 - 20, Diamond Stone reps release a little more info about this year's festival a day at a time. Here's what we know so far.
For the 2025 lineup, they have no revealed the full list. But, Diamond Stone staff say that there are at least 25 acts to expect, both returning artists from 2024 and brand new artists. They've even added a new headliner to the mix for this year's event. "We have been working so hard to develop a Diamond Stone that you all can be proud of again," they wrote on a social media post. "We have booked about ninety percent of our talent, so it won’t be long before a lineup reveal."
They also hinted at early access opportunities for campers who want to enjoy more than just three days of music. "We will likely offer September 17 camping to a LIMITED amount of attendees this year," they wrote. Bear in mind that tickets for this year's event will be the lowest priced since 2020.
Those who enjoy O.G. music starters will enjoy the Diamond Stone experience.
In the past, Diamond Stone has brought some of the most iconic independent artists in Oklahoma. Legendary performers like The Great Divide, John Fullbright and Band of Heathens have been Diamond Stone supporters for some time.
The best part about this festival, though, is the focus on independent music that the music managers try to highlight most in their lineups each year. Diamond Stone is the perfect fit for those constantly looking for new music.
The Tahlequah music festival is different from most others in the state.
The Illinois River is one of the most popularly "floated" rivers in the state. Getting to float the river while enjoying the music has always been one of the ways this festival has stood out, even when it used to be known as Medicine Stone.
The other very noticable difference between Diamond Stone and other music festivals is the camping experience. When folks travel to appreciate 3-4 days of music, most of the time the party doesn't stop once the sun goes down and the main stage closes. Often times, campers will have their own jam sessions and fun groups at different sites.
If the Diamond Stone experience sounds like something you've been wanting to try, then you can purchase your tickets here once they become available. For the most recent updates, follow Diamond Stone on Facebook.
