I love a good book.  Right now I have two books in my purse.  One that I started on my honeymoon trip to the beach, the other one I bought at the airport while on vacation last week.

Getting lost in a book is such an escape, and I've found that it really doesn't matter the type of book.  I like romance, mysteries, and historical novels.  And I like to get them at a bargain.

Last year, the annual sale that the Friends of the Library hold was cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic and social distancing protocols, so when the announcement from the Library came today, I was so excited.

Here's the skinny.  The book sale starts on April 15 and runs through the 18th.  It will be in the Central Mall  on the East Side by Rue 21.  Hours are 4-7 on the 15th, 8am-6pm on April 16 & 17th, and Noon to 4pm on April 18th.

“Every year we look forward to the Friends of the Library Book Sale,” said Kristin Herr, library director. “The sale is a great opportunity for readers of all ages to pick upa few books at an affordable price. And, of course, we are always thankful for the Friends of the Library and their support of the Lawton Public Library.”

Social distancing protocols will be and place and masks are required at the book sale.
