Fort Sill Family and MWR are hosting a free concert on Fort Sill's Polo Field featuring Trace Adkins on Saturday, May 15th.  This will be the first public outing since our town and Fort Sill were basically on lock down due to COVID 19. It makes sense that there are rules that will need to be followed to make this event as safe as possible.

Parking

General admission concert-goers should enter through Gate 2 from Interstate 44, for special event entry and parking on Conklin Field. A valid state or federal issued ID is necessary for all attendees 16 and above. Gate 2 will be open at 3:15 p.m. Vehicles are subject to random checks.

Handicapped Parking is available at the venue for those attendees with a valid handicapped parking permit and a DoD ID. Handicapped guests that do not have a DoD ID will need to get a visitor pass from the Visitor Control Center (T6701 Sheridan Road), prior to event.

Fort Sill and Family MWR have set these do's and don'ts in place for the Armed Forces Event.

Even though this is an outdoor event, masks will be required unless you are eating or drinking. We will also want to practice social distancing as much as possible with the optimum of 6 feet distance from others. Spaces in General Admission will be marked in circles for a family or group of 4 people and each group distanced from others. There will be sanitation stations placed at various locations at the event to encourage hand washing.

We are so excited to have live events back in Southwest Oklahoma, and to have a free one at that!  Let's obey the rules, and stay safe out there!
