While the majority of people are still setting up their spooky, scary Halloween decorations here in Lawton, the city is already preparing for their biggest holiday celebration for Christmas.

Earlier today, we caught some of the local landscapers hanging some of the first Christmas lights in preparation for Lawton's Holiday in the Park. Once the first lights are hung, it's time for the volunteers to step in and help with the decorations and attractions.

Find out how you can help get hands-on with the Holiday in the Park experience and see what there is to look forward to at Elmer Thomas Park.

Crews in Elmer Thomas Park were not only cleaning up the trees and landscapes, but they were busy lining the tunnels that cover both the road that brings visitors into Elmer Thomas, and along the walkway on the east side of the park.

While these crewmembers were contracted to put up these lights, it's the volunteers that help make the rest if the Christmas-themed walk-through happen.
