FISTA Foundation's Teddy Bear Tea To Benefit Reading Program

The FISTA Foundation will host a Teddy Bear Tea this holiday season benefitting the Reading on the Rise Program that will soon be a new program within the STEM Lab at FISTA Innovation Park in Lawton. The Teddy Bear Tea will feature an evening with a live theatrical performance, holiday tea, and more.

The Teddy Bear Tea will showcase an original Christmas play, "Mrs. Claus and the Perfect Present." Attendees will have the opportunity to see the performance, while also enjoying a festive plate for adults, hot cocoa and gifts for kids, plus family-style seating.

FISTA Foundation's Teddy Bear Tea

Lawton residents have three opportunities to experience the Teddy Bear Tea, hosted by the FISTA Foundation. The tea will take place at the FISTA Innovation Park, located at 200 SW C Ave.

2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12
6-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12
3-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13

Tickets are available for $25 per person, including children. Tickets can be purchased online on the Teddy Bear Tea website.

FISTA Foundation's Reading on the Rise

The Teddy Bear Tea is a fundraiser for the FISTA Foundation's Reading on the Rise program, which is set to launch in the spring of 2027. The program is designed for ages 5-18 and aims to strengthen reading proficiency and leadership skills. Reading on the Rise will focus on reading development, leadership, inspiring students, and will also offer scholarships and tutoring.
