Oklahoma Will See Snow, Hard Freeze and Cold Wind Chills This Week
Oklahoma isn't getting rid of winter that easy! Although the official first day of spring was last week, Oklahoma has snow, a hard freeze and cold wind chills in its forecast.
Oklahoma and North Texas had a typical spring weekend with warmer temperatures, strong winds, thunderstorms and, of course, tornadoes. Now much colder temperatures are on tap for the morning of Tuesday, March 26. Some areas of Oklahoma will see a hard freeze and wind chills in the teens and 20s. And those in the panhandle have chances for snow.
The morning of Tuesday, March 26 is when Oklahomans will see freezing temperatures, especially in northern and western Oklahoma.
Oklahoma will have some breezy winds Tuesday coming behind the cold front. This will include cold wind chills in the teens and 20s, and in the 30s near the Red River.

Snow chances will continue into Wednesday morning.
Northern Oklahoma will have another chance for snow Wednesday morning but it will change to rain by the afternoon. The rest of Oklahoma will have a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain Wednesday.
