Katy Perry Sued by Stagehand Who Lost Toe During ‘Prismatic’ Tour
A stagehand named Christina Fish, who worked on the 2014 Prismatic Tour, claims she lost a toe as consequence to working on the production, according to TMZ. The site says she was asked to help move a wall during a concert in Raleigh, North Carolina when the structure got stuck and rolled across her foot. She said she felt her shoe fill with blood, and while the team gave her ice, nobody would take her to the emergency room. So, a friend eventually picked her up and took her to the hospital.
Because of the time spent waiting, Fish says her toe became gangrenous and eventually needed to be amputated. She said she wasn't able to use the foot for months after and noted that the incident cause a great deal of emotional stress. She once loved yoga, she said, and now, she can't practice.
Fish is suing Perry, Live Nation and additional stage production companies.
