Clayton Kershaw is the best the left handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, and last night he showed why he is so dominant. Kershaw no-hit Colorado and struck out 15 Rockies' hitters in the masterpiece. Here was the final out of the game.

Since 1875, 283 no-hitters have been thrown in MLB history, but Kershaw's performance was one of the best ever. He did not walk any batters in the game, but an errant throw to first base by Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez in the 7th inning spoiled Kershaw's bid for perfection. The masterful effort came less than a month after teammate Josh Beckett threw a no-hitter against the Phillies. The only other time two Dodgers threw no-hitters in the same season was 1956, when Carl Erskine and Sal Maglie accomplished the rare feat. Kershaw is now 7-2 with a 2.52 ERA in 10 starts this season.
