Early Closings In Lawton Caused By Incoming Inclement Weather
Winter weather isn't something to take lightly around here. When the roads ice over, they become a huge risk for drivers. Between the all-season tires, minimal road maintenance tools we have available, and an overall lack of experience in driving in icy, snowy conditions, it's just a recipe for disaster.

While many places have not yet confirmed or announced if they will be open, it's wise to check any and all social media before deciding to visit them.
Here are the places and organizations that have already confirmed they will be closing early on Friday, January 23, 2026.
