There is no shortage when it comes to professional athletes that call Lawton, Oklahoma their home.

Will Shields, a Lawton High School Alumni, played professional football for Kansas City Chiefs, from 1993 to 2006, and continues to serve the community that developed his love and knowledge of the game by hosting "Will to Succeed" football camps each year here in Lawton.

Butch Huskey, an IKE grad, played professional Baseball for New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, and more from 1993 -2000  He now makes his home back here in Oklahoma, raising his family where he grew up.

Grady Brewer is in pretty good company as he grew up in a boxing family right here in Lawton OK as well.  Grady made Lawton famous as he competed in, and was crowned  2006 winner of the ESPN reality show, The Contender.

Grady Brewer, Lawton Local  Boxing Legend is hosting his Second Amateur Boxing Exhibition.
On Saturday, March 26th, you can enjoy two different exhibitions, a youth exhibition from 2 to 4, and an adult exhibition from 7 to 9. Each of the participants has been trained and mentored by Brewer. All money raised goes to the Grady Brewer Foundation Youth Scholarship Fund.
