‘Sesame Street’ Debuts Impoverished Muppet Named Lily [VIDEO]

As a way to highlight the plight of starving children in America, ‘Sesame Street‘ has introduced Lily, an impoverished (and extremely adorable) muppet whose family struggles just to put food on the table.

Lily made her debut last night in a primetime special called ‘Growing Hope Against Hunger’ and she spoke out on ‘The Early Show‘ about the importance of her message.
