Welcome to the Billion Views Club, Luis Fonsi and Demi Lovato. The duo's "Échame La Culpa" video may have come out a mere four months ago, but that was enough time for the Puerto Rican superstar and pop singer to achieve a viewing milestone. With the quickness in which Fonsi and Lovato racked up views, the clip is the fifth-fastest video to achieve a billion views in YouTube history.

Both of the song's creators went to social media to share the exciting news.

"This is awesome!!! Muchas gracias mi gente. Que pasa @ddlovato#1BillionClub #WeBreakingRecords#EchameLaCulpa" Fonsi wrote on Instagram, while Lovato tweeted, "A BILLION VIEWS Thank you guys so much for all the love on the video!!! "

Psy’s “Gangnam Style” was the first video to hit a billion views back in 2012. Since then, over 100 videos have reached that coveted mark.

Earlier this month, Fonsi and Lovato released an English spoken remix of "Échame La Culpa" called "Not on You." The duo most likely hoped to have the same crossover success as Fonsi did with "Despacito" when he recruited Justin Bieber for the remix. Interestingly enough, that clips holds the current YouTube record of most-viewed video of all time, racking up nearly five billion views.
