‘Doodle 4 Google’ Winner Depicts Moving Soldier Homecoming
Who's ready for some tears? Oh, good!
Every year, Google holds an annual "Doodle 4 Google" contest, in which they ask students (from kindergarten through grade 12) to submit drawings based on a specific theme. This year's theme was "My Best Day Ever," and it's hard to imagine one more deserving of that title than this.
The winning artist is high school senior Sabrina Brady, who drew herself greeting her father after his 18-month deployment over in Iraq when she was 10.
The heartwarming drawing is today's Google doodle. As for Brady, she will be awarded a $30,000 college scholarship on top of a $50,000 technology grant.
