One Missing Child In Oklahoma Found, But More Have Been Reported
If you notice a higher presence of law enforcement in Oklahoma, don't worry too much - they have more on their plates to worry about than minor speeding tickets. Recently, Oklahoma authorities have helped locate a missing girl from Oklahoma, who was found in Georgia, likely due to sex trafficking.
While we'd like to be able to celebrate the good news, there's just not enough time to do so. Shortly after the news about the girl being found, more reports have come in of other missing teens and children in the Lawton area.
Keep an eye out for the kids that our community is missing and report any information to our local authorities. Pictures and information about their cases are below.
Oklahoma and Georgie authorities work together to locate missing runaway child.
On Thursday, September 25, law enforcement in Chatham County, Georgia, teamed up with the Oklahoma Police Department. Together, they were able to rescue a runaway child at a hotel near I-95 and Highway 204 that was believed to be a victim of a sex trafficking operation.
Luckily, the teamwork between agencies helped bring this young lady home safely. In many other human trafficking cases, things don't always work out as well as they did in Georgia.
